Dr. Donald Therasse
Don Therasse is an independent consultant in pharmaceutical research and development. He previously spent 26 years in the pharmaceutical industry, all with Eli Lilly and Company. He joined Lilly as a clinical research physician and subsequently held various positions in research and management. He became vice president of global medical affairs and then vice president of global patient safety and bioethics. Dr. Therasse is also a member of the adjunct faculty at the Berman Institute of Bioethics at Johns Hopkins University. He received both his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Michigan. Don and his wife, Patricia, have two children and five grandchildren. They reside in Spring Lake, Michigan.
